Periodically Poled Materials

Our periodically poled materiels are a highly efficient medium for nonlinear wavelength conversion processes. They can be used for frequency doubling, difference frequency generation, sum frequency generation, optical parametric oscillation, and other nonlinear processes.

Our proprietary PPLN poling process creates high fidelity grating periods. Our custom design and fabrication service provides application-specific technical consultation with engineers and material scientists. Our Stoichiometric Lithium Tantalate (SLT) material is less susceptable to optical damage, has a more stable power output and has a lower operating temperature. Not only does our SLT material have higher power-handling abilities but it also has a better transparency in the UV spectrum.
